Turkey and Kosovo sign Air Transportation Agreement

ANKARA (A.A) - December 21, 2011 - Turkey and Kosovo signed a deal on air transportation within the scope of extending flight network in Balkan countries. Turkey's Civil Aviation Directorate General stated on Wednesday that the deal was signed following the talks between Turkish and Kosovar officials last week, noting that the deal would increase flights between Turkey and Kosovo, especially between Istanbul and Pristina. The deal also includes holding scheduled cargo flights between the two countries. The deal will help Kosovo to connect with not only Turkey but also other countries via Turkey.
