Turkey does not allow illegal and inhumane treatment of friendly countries

ANKARA (A.A) – Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey did not allow illegal, inhumane and unfair treatment towards Turkish citizens and people of friendly countries. Turkey's foreign policy was based on "zero problem" with neighbors and in the region and the world, added Erdogan who addressed nation on Friday. Regarding the recent incidents in Iraq, Erdogan said that Turkey was closely following the incidents in Iraq, adding that a separation due to difference of sects in Iraq was dangerous. Erdogan called on Iraqi people to act moderately. Also commenting on the resolution which criminalizes rejecting the Armenian allegations on 1915 incidents and was adopted by French Parliament recently, Erdogan said that the resolution certainly caused reactions in Turkey. Erdogan said that painful events which happened between two societies in the history were exploited by France one more time and used as a tool for its domestic policies. Erdogan said that Turkey, in every opportunity, offered to discuss and examine 1915 incidents within the scope documents, archives and scientific researches, adding that Turkey was opening its all archives, and Armenian as well as third countries could do the same if they had too. This is the matter of historians, not parliaments, added Erdogan. He noted that France ran over the values of itself, Europe and French Revolution by adopting this resolution, adding that France still had not reveal the realities about its role in death of 800,000 people in Rwanda as well as the genocide it committed in Algeria. Erdogan said that Turkey would announce its measures against France step by step according to the course of the proceeding on the resolution in France.
