Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan vows to boost relations

NAKHCHIVAN (A.A) - Turkish, Iranian and Azeri foreign ministers have pledged to further improve relations between the three countries. Releasing a joint declaration after a meeting Wednesday in Nakhchivan, the capital of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, the three ministers have expressed commitment to continue consultations on major regional and international issues, adding that a settlement of the Upper Karabakh problem based on independence, territorial integrity and internationally-recognized borders would make a great contribution to regional peace and prosperity.     The declaration said that the three countries were resolved not to let use of their territories for any threat and action against one another, adding that they were also committed to cooperate against organized crime, human and drug trafficking as well as terrorism.   The three countries expressed willingness to boost ties in economy, energy, trade, tourism, industry and transportation. The declaration also said the three countries supported use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes in line with the framework of the Non-proliferation Treaty without any discrimination.
