Turkey strengthening positions on Turkmen market

Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, Feb. 9 By Huseyn Hasanov– Trend: Turkish companies and businessmen increasingly strengthen their positions on the promising Turkmen market, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said in his addressing speech to participants of a joint Turkmen-Turkish business forum and exhibition opened in Ashgabat Feb. 9. A delegation of representatives of more than Turkish 100 companies specializing in mechanical engineering, chemical industry, production of industrial, agricultural and water-economic equipment, trade, education, construction and other fields has arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the forum and exhibition. The forum and exhibition will last until February 11. “I am confident that this exhibition and the Turkmen-Turkish business forum held within its framework will be of great importance for the expansion of bilateral trade and economic partnership, increase in export of goods, development of business relations with Turkish companies and investors, wide attraction of foreign capital into the national economy,” the president of Turkmenistan said. The intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish commission for economic cooperation and Turkmen-Turkish business council play an important role in activation of the partnership, Berdimuhamedov said in his addressing speech.
