Turkish-Azerbaijani relations discussed at conference in Kocaeli

Ankara, 4 December (AzerTAc). Federation of Turkish-Azerbaijani Circles has organized a conference on the theme of”Turkish-Azerbaijani relations in the developing and changing world” in Kocaeli, Turkey. Consul General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul Hasan Zeynalov, member of the Azerbaijani parliament, Ganira Pashayeva, members of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Shuay Alpay, Yusuf Halajoglu, Ali Ozgunduz attended the conference. Addressing the event, Ganira Pashayeva said Azerbaijan and Turkey had always supported each-other and this must be continued in the future, as well. She said “the power of Turkey is our power, too”. Head of the Federation of Turkish-Azerbaijani Circles, Bilal Dundar highly appreciated the fact that Azerbaijan was the country to send aid to Van province when earthquake took place there. Hasan Zeynalov spoke of the history of Azerbaijan-Turkey relationship. Yusuf Halajoglu, in turn highlighted the Western countries` double standards on the Khojaly genocide and other similar massacres.
