Turkish deputies help restore rehabilitation center in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO (A.A) - A group of Turkish deputies visiting Bosnia-Herzegovina helped restore the Vladimir Nazor rehabilitation and education center in Sarajevo on Saturday. Led by the Chairman of the Turkey-Bosnia-Herzegovina Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group and a Justice and Development (AK) Party deputy from Bursa, Hakan Cavusoglu, the deputies helped paint the walls at the center. Speaking to the AA, Cavusoglu said that restoring the Sarajevo center would be beneficial for children. "The restoration project carries a symbolic importance. The goal is to help Bosnia-Herzegovina become a member of the EU and NATO," Cavusoglu said. As Turkey, we have historic and cultural ties with Bosnia-Herzegovina. We think that Bosnia-Herzegovina's territorial integrity and freedom must be preserved, Cavusoglu also said.
