Turkish deputy premier answers questions of Arab journalists

ISTANBUL (A.A) - Turkish deputy premier said on Thursday that half of the current constitution had been amended and there was need for a new constitution. Arinc answered questions of Arab reporters after Turkish-Arab Media Forum that took place in Istanbul. Replying to a question on preparation of new constitution, Arinc said that they would make it, stating that a new, democratic and liberal constitution would be prepared. At least half of the 175-article constitution was amended and there was need for a new one, he said. Arinc said that they would prepare a constitution that would contribute to solution of issues which Turkey was dealing with.
