Turkish deputy premier says AA's office in Balkans to boost ties

SARAJEVO  (A.A) - March 11, 2012 - Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag said on Sunday that Anadolu Agency's (AA) Balkans Regional Directorate Office in Sarajevo would boost ties between Turkey and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Anadolu Agency (AA) opened Balkans Regional Directorate Office in Sarajevo on Sunday. AA's office in Sarajevo started to broadcast news stories in Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian as of Sunday. Bakir Izzetbegovich, head of the Presidential Council of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bozdag and AA Director General Kemal Ozturk attended the inauguration of the regional office of AA. Bozdag said that today was a historic day.  "AA is a great news agency which made Turkey's voice be heard in the world and voice of the people living in several countries be heard in Turkey and other countries since 1920," he said. Bozdag said that the people speaking Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian would be informed about what was happening in the world with AA's news stories.
