Turkish Energy Minister: Turkey Prevented 7,000 Foreigners From Crossing into Syria and Iraq To Join Daash

BAGHDAD / NINA / Turkish Energy Minister, Taner Yildiz said his country is committed to maintaining stability in the region and has prevented 7000 foreigners from entering Syria and Iraq to join Daash. He said at a joint news conference with Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari that "Turkey has provided 700 trucks of humanitarian aid for the displaced, who numbered 40 000 displaced people in three camps and will provide more," adding that Turkey is one of the countries more helping Iraq. He added that his country will continue to support Iraq in the fight against Daash and in this regard, it has prevented 7,000 foreigners from crossing into Syria and Iraq to join Daash.
