Turkish FM says Syria missed an important opportunity

ANKARA (A.A) - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Friday that Syria has missed an important opportunity. A deadline set by the Arab League for Syria to sign a deal allowing monitors into the country expired on Friday. In regard to the matter, Davutoglu said that it was a test of good intention for Syria and the country missed an important chance. If Syria had wanted a peaceful atmosphere, it would have said 'yes' to the deal, he said.  Works under plans of the Arab League topped the agenda currently, he said.
