All newspapers wrote President Gul's visit to London. Gul, who spoke at the Annual Conference 2011 of the Confederation of the British Industry, said that Turkey was the rising crescent of Eurasia, and he invited British investors to explore the opportunities in Turkey. "There is a confidence crisis in world economy. We should boost business relations so that we can solve the problems," said Gul who was the guest of honor in the conference. Gul and his spouse Hayrunnisa Gul also listened to a concert at historical Royal Albert Hall in London. Turkish Deputy Premier Ali Babacan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu accompanied Gul couple who listened to classical music concert "Classical Spectacular" at queen's chamber. Another topic all newspapers wrote is Erdogan's message to Syrian leader al-Assad. Erdogan, who spoke at the 2nd Summit for Religious Leaders of Muslim Countries & Communities of African Continent in Istanbul, addressed al-Assad and said that one day he would leave his seat too. Erdogan said, "if you trust yourself, you go the ballot boxes. If people give you the authority, you rule the country. Ruling a country by the help of tanks and weapons has limits. One day you will leave too. Those seats are not eternal." Erdogan also commented on remarks of al-Assad, who said that he would fight until he died, and said, "will you fight against your Muslim brothers?". Some of the newspapers wrote the statement of General Staff which announced the number of its personnel for the first time. Accordingly, General Staff has 365 generals and admirals, 40,000 commissioned officers, and 95,000 non-commissioned officers. General Staff has a total of 720,000 personnel.
