Turkish theater to be built in Macedonia

KONYA (A.A) - February 1, 2012 - Macedonian government will construct a Turkish theater building in Skopje. Macedonian State Minister Hadi Nezir, who is visiting Turkey's central Anatolian province of Konya together with several other Macedonian ministers, told AA on Wednesday that Turkish theater in Skopje would have its own building with an investment of 13 million Euro. Nezir said that Turkish theater in Skopje had been under the same roof with Albanian theater, adding that they would lay the foundation of a private building for Turkish theater on an area of 4,500 square meters thanks to a decision made by Macedonian Council of Ministers in December 2011. Except in Turkey, there won't be such another building like this in Balkans and Europe, Nezir said. Macedonian government will construct the building of the theater, but we will ask for the help of Turkey for the equipment, said Nezir, adding that the foundation would be laid in March or April. We target to complete the building within 2-3 years, he said.
