Turkmenistan's President postpones visit to Thailand

BANGKOK, November 29 (TNA) - Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has postponed his official visit to Thailand, earlier scheduled for November 30-December 2, 2013, until a new schedule is set. The Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Friday the postponement of the Türkmen President's official trip to Thailand, as stated in a letter sent from the Turkmen government. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the new schedule of the Turkmen President's official visit to Thailand, as the guest of the Thai government, will be later discussed and set through a diplomatic channel. President Berdimuhamedov has eyed to strengthen bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Thailand during his visit to Bangkok. (TNA)
