Tuul River to be revived

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Oyu Tolgoi LLC will co-implement a project on reviving run-off of the river Tuul together with the Ministry of Environment and Green Development. In frames of the project, the "Ikh Us Tuul" NGO will plant 100 thousand trees along the riverbanks within three years with a help of the latest technologies. The OT LLC decided to give USD 600 thousand for this work. It is expected that the trees will cover 2,400 hectares. The OT company also appeals to business organizations to support this project. The river Tuul is the main water resource of Ulaanbaatar.
