Two Bangkok bombing suspects moved to 11th Military Circle

BANGKOK, September 14 (TNA) -- The Bangkok bombing suspects were moved to a temporary prison at the 11th Military Circle in Bangkok amid tight security, to facilitate legal procedures in the case. Adem Karadag (24) and Mieralli Yusufu (26), the two suspects involved in the Erawan Shrine and Sathorn Pier were transfered from a prison in Min Buri district to the the temporary prison in the compound of the 11th Military Circle on Rama 5 Road this afternoon. Vitaya Suriyawong, director-general of the Corrections Department earlier approved the relocation of suspects related to the Aug 17 bombing at Bangkok's Ratchaprasong intersection and Sathorn Pier on Aug 18 to the 11th Military Circle in the capital. Assigned to inspect the readiness at the 11th Military Circle, Ayut Sintoppan, governor of the Bangkok Remand Prison, said earlier that the temporary prison needed more security elements at its cells and visit areas and the improvement should take up to 10 days.
