Two dozens more Thais from Libya arrive home Aug 7

BANGKOK, August 7 (TNA) - A group of 24 Thai evacuees from Libya through Tunisia is scheduled to arrive in Thailand on Thursday. The 24 Thai nationals are among 48 Thai evacuees who left Libya to Tunisia on August 5. Thirteen of the 24 Thais are scheduled to board Flight EK376, set to land at 1pm, seven more on Flight EK418, set to land at 6:10pm, and four others on Flight EK372, set to land at 7:15pm, while the rest are scheduled to take off from Tunisia by August 7. On August 6, a group of 65 Thai nationals crossed the border from Libya to neighboring Tunisia, while 81 others boarded aircraft from Libya to Tunisia, where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is arranging commercial flights for their return to Thailand. Besides, 16 other Thai citizens boarded aircraft from Libya to Tunis, Tunisia's capital, thanks to assistance from their employer, making the number of Thai nationals departing from Libya totaling 162 on August 6 alone.
