Two injured Thai stewardesses recovering

BANGKOK, July 11 (TNA) - Two Thai stewardesses of an Asiana Airlines flight, who were injured in a crash landing in San Francisco of the US California State last weekend, have been recovering. Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul told reporters of the update on Wednesday, saying that Miss Maneenart Tinakul, who have had minor bruises and a little pain in her neck, should be discharged from hospital soon; while the other Thai air-hostess, nicknamed "Eve", would reportedly be moved out of the intensive care unit (ICU) for further treatment on her burn wounds by Wednesday evening (San Francisco's time). According to the deputy prime minister, Thailand's Deputy Consul General in Los Angeles (L.A.) Mangkorn Patumkaew and monks from the Thai Temple in L.A. have visited the two injured Thai crew members to inquire about their conditions and given them their blessings. Besides, the deputy prime minister noted, the Thai deputy consul general in L.A. is also cooperating with the South Korean Asiana Airlines' executives on providing conveniences to the injured Thai crew members' families to visit them in L.A. as soon as possible.
