Two missing in Thailand's fireworks factory blast

SUPHANBURI, THAILAND, December 25 (TNA) - A fireworks factory in Thailand's central Suphanburi Province exploded on Wednesday morning, totally damaging the plant and causing two workers missing. Concerned authorities rushed to the scene, the one-storey factory in Suan Taeng Sub-district of Muang District, to inspect the situation and to search for the missing workers, while firefighters were trying hard to bring the raging blaze under control as the fireworks kept exploding. Local police initially assumed that the blast was caused by a chemical reaction triggered by the cold and damp weather. Last year, there was also a similar blast at the same factory though there were no reports of any victim missing, injured or killed. (TNA)
