Two new Cabinet members sworn in before Thai King

BANGKOK, November 24 (TNA) - Two new Thai Cabinet members, including Deputy Finance Minister Wisut Srisuphan and Deputy Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Amnuay Patise, have already been sworn-in before His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha led the two new Cabinet members to be granted an audience with His Majesty the King at Bangkok's Siriraj Hospital on Sunday evening for their swearing-in before assuming their posts. The swearing-in ceremony for the two new deputy ministers was first set last Friday evening, but the Bureau of the Royal Household then issued a statement, quoting royal physicians as saying, that His Majesty the King was not yet ready for the ceremony and a new appropriate date would be later announced. The prime minister has appointed the two new Cabinet members to relieve the workload at the two ministries. (TNA)
