Two wounded in car bomb in Narathiwat

NARATHIWAT, June 26 (TNA) - Two men were wounded on Sunday in a car bomb explosion in Narathiwat’s Sungaikolok municipality. Police said the incident occurred at about 6.00 a.m. Witnesses said an unidentified man parked the truck and was picked up by a motorcycle. Patrol police witnessed the suspect and tried to follow them but they managed to get away. Several roadside vending stalls, the temporary base of Narathiwat Task force and a school building were damaged by the explosion. Fire fighters managed to put out the fire. The two wounded persons were later sent to a hospital for treatment. (TNA)
