UAE charity body sends aid to snow-hit Palestine

Occupied Jerusalem: Human Appeal International-UAE has sent urgent aid to Palestinian families affected by the snow storm and floods in Palestine. Ebrahim Rashid, director of the authority in the West Bank, said that the authority’s teams are currently distributing emergency assistance to the families affected by the adverse weather conditions in Palestine. Snow has accumulated to more than a metre in height in Palestinian governorates, especially the areas of Nablus, occupied Jerusalem, Ramallah and Hebron. He added that the authority’s teams have distributed blankets, bedding, stoves, clothes, food items and financial assistance. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
