UAE embassies oversees KF's Iftar projects in Belarus and Ireland

MINSK, 23rd June, 2015 (WAM) – The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation (KF) has organised an Iftar project for the Holy Month of Ramadan 1436 H at the Capital Mosque with a follow-up and supervision of the UAE Embassy in Belarus. The project is aimed at implementing the teachings of Islam which call for co-operation and love. The project is being organised and funded by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan who is a symbol of love and charity. The project also implements the message of the KF aimed at strengthening bonds among people and communities as well as alleviating their burden during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The project includes distribution of 150,000 daily meals in co-ordination with the mosque administration in Minsk. In the same context, the UAE embassy in Ireland has begun implementation of charitable programmes for Ramadan. The programme includes distribution of dates and hosting mass Iftar for the underprivileged and needy people in co-operation with the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC). The project is being carried out and being followed up by Ambassador of the UAE to Ireland, Dr. Saeed Mohammed Ali Al Shamsi.
