UAE HAI expands winter campaign in Palestinian territories

JENIN, PALESTINE, 2nd February, 2015 (WAM)--UAE Human Appeal International (HAI) has stepped up its winter aid campaign to assist some 300 Palestinian families affected by the snowstorm that recently struck in the Palestinian territories, the Levant and Iraq. Ibrahi Rashid, Director of the HAI office in the West Bank, said HAI’s winter campaign, in which US$1 million in aid will be distributed, targets 15,000 Palestinian families overall, including the poor, orphans and Bedouins who were affected by the snowstorm. He added that HAI teams distributed the winter aid yesterday, which included clothing, heaters, blankets, children’s milk and other food stuff items, to 288 families in Galilee Province, northern West Bank.
