UAE Red Crescent distributes clothing to underprivileged Pakistani children

The UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has distributed more than 28,000 articles of clothing to underprivileged children in different areas of Pakistan as part of the second phase of the campaign launched earlier this year by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to clothe one million children around the world. RCA's operation which lasted for a week benefited children in Mardan, Swat, Malakand, Nowshera, Waziristan and Khyber. RCA team told WAM that the distribution of clothing to underprivileged children will also take place in other Pakistani provinces including Gwadar, Baluchestan, Kashmir as well as in coastal areas. Families of beneficiary children expressed appreciation for the generous humanitarian gesture of the patron of the clothing campaign. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
