Uganda slams Ahvaz terrorist attack

Algiers, Sept 30, IRNA – President of Uganda Yoweri Museveni in a message condemned the recent terrorist attack in southwestern Iran. In his message to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani which was released on Saturday, Museveni expressed regrets over killing a number of innocent people. He condoled with bereaved families of the deadly incident. Uganda is also dealing with terrorism and is fighting against it, Museveni added. At least 25 people, including women and children, were killed and more than 60 others injured during September 22 terror attack in Ahvaz which took place during a military parade held to mark the 38th anniversary of the eight-year (1980-88) war imposed on Iran. The self-proclaimed Saudi-affiliated Al-Ahwaz terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack. About thirty countries have so far slammed the terror attack in Iran.
