Ukrainian military forces suspend hostilities in Boeing crash area

KIEV, July 31 (Itar-Tass) - Ukrainian military forces suspended offensive hostilities, declaring Thursday as a day of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the press centre of the Ukrainian military operation said. “To demands of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to stop hostilities in the Boeing-777 crash area in Donetsk region a day of the OSCE was declared in the anti-terrorist operation zone. This was done to provide for full-fledged work of international experts in the crash area of the passenger airplane Boeing-777. On July 31, troops involved in the active phase of the anti-terrorist operation are not taking military actions, except for protection of their positions from attack,” the press centre said.
