Ulaanbaatar winter festival to run at Tuul

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Municipality Department for Tourism is to organize the Ulaanbaatar Winter Festival on February 1 on the ice of the river Tuul. This action is to run for the second time, in light of promoting the winter and special interest tourism and extending the tourism period in Mongolia. Many interesting events will take place, such as a performance of figure-skating, Shagai-shooting on ice, professional and tourist tournaments of archery, dog-sledging, winter cycling tours. Expected are also winter clothing fashion show, exhibition of the traditional toys and souvenirs, and catering services. Tourists willing to participate in the festival can occupy four- and five-star hotels of Ulaanbaatar with discount up to 50 percent.
