Washington / NINA / United Nations official said that the terrorist organization ISIS kills Sunni clerics in Iraq in order to silence moderate voices, calling to shed light on these crimes larger. The United Nations Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion and belief, Heiner Bielefeldt that ISIS had killed 13 Sunni clerics in Mosul, including Sheikh Mohammed al-Mansouri, Imam and preacher of Mosul Mosque, which is the same mosque, which leader of ISIS; Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi appeared in a video last Friday. Bielefeldt called to pay attention and shed light on these crimes, in particular, because it shows that the conflict in Iraq is not between Shiites and Sunnis. He added, "The ISIS militants are killing clerics of the Sunni community who have a clear understanding of the true Islam." Sheikh Mohammed al-Mansouri was killed in Mosul with 12 others clerics who refused to swear allegiance to ISIS after entering the city.
