UN Secretary-General Praises Qatar's Donation to UNRWA

New York, March 24 (QNA) - UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has expressed his thanks and appreciations to HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for Qatar's generous pledge of USD 50 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). The came in a statement released by Spokesman for the UN Secretary-General in New York on Friday. Qatar's pledge was among other pledges made by donor countries at the Extraordinary Ministerial Conference to support UNRWA which was held in Rome on 15 March. (QNA)
