MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. The UN Security Council resolution on chlorine attacks in Syria only warns about the responsibility for similar crimes before the international community without assigning blame, and other readings of the document are biased, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday. The resolution passed by the UN Security Council on Friday "does not mention that any of the conflicting sides in Syria is guilty of using toxic chemicals as there is no solid evidence on this," the ministry said. The ministry criticized Western media reports alleging that the official Damascus is to blame for the chlorine attacks. The reports in particular said that Resolution 2209 is the last warning to the Syrian authorities in the context of the possible introduction in future of sanctions under Chapter VII of the UN Charter, it says.
