Unemployment rate declines in Turkey

Baku, Azerbaijan, April 15 By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend: Turkey's unemployment rate decreased by 0.5 percent amounting to 10.1 percent in January 2014 compared to the same period of 2013, the Turkish Statistics Institute reports. At present, the number of unemployed in Turkey amounts to 2.841 million, which is 49 percent less compared to 2013. The Turkish population stood at 75,627,384 as of December 1, 2013. Some 21,4 percent of the total working population work in the agriculture, 19.7 percent - industry, 6.7 percent -construction.
