UNICEF: More Than Two Millions And A Half Of Iraqi Children Affected By The Ongoing Fighting

The organization's executive director, Anthony Lake, according to a statement for the organization said that nearly 2.7 million children in Iraq have been affected by the conflict and it is believed that 700 children have at least maimed, or killed or executed this year, where many children were killed as they were studying in classes or sleeping and others were subjected for kidnapping, torture, rape and recruitment even sold into slavery.
