US Congress Approves The Budget Allocated To Finance Military Operations Against (IS) In Iraq And Syria

BAGHDAD / NINA / Source in Defense Committees of House of Representatives and the US Senate said that "the US Congress approved the request of President Obama to allocate emergency budget to finance military operations against the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq and Syria, paving the way for a vote in the coming days." The sources added: "It is expected that the US House of Representatives passes the annual Act of Defense at the end of the week then to be voted later in the Senate.". The annual law allocates military budget requested by Barack Obama, which is amounting to five billion dollars, distributed between 3.4 billion to fund the deployment of US troops as part of "firm determination" process of in Afghanistan and 1.6 billion for the program to equip and train Iraqi forces and the Peshmerga to two years, in addition to $ 520 million to the diplomacy and humanitarian efforts of the Ministry of Defense./ End
