US Embassy to Thailand releases clip on Songkran celebrations

BANGKOK, April 10 (TNA) - The US Embassy to Thailand has introduced a video clip to promote and join nationwide celebrations of the Songkran or the Traditional Thai New Year 2014. The video clip was uploaded on the globally-wellknown video-sharing website YouTube on Thursday, in which staffs of the US Embassy lip-synced, danced and extended best wishes to Thai people for the Songkran or the Traditional Thai New Year Festival. The video clip, titled “Sook Sun Wan Songkran from U.S. Embassy Bangkok”, featured the song, called “Sook Kan Ter Rao” or “Let’s be Happy" in Thai, composed by Thailand's famous Soontaraporn Band, which has become a most popular one for festive seasons in Thailand.
