US official: The Battle Against The Islamic State Is Not An America Battle But A Battle Of The International Community

BAGHDAD / NINA / Deputy US National Security Adviser at the White House, Tony Behnken said that "the battle against the Islamic State is not America battle but a battle of the international community and we have now more than 50 countries are fighting with us against it." Behnken said in a televised statement that "the risk of the (IS) is not on the residents of the area, but on America and Europe and our practical steps to fight (IS) came when it became clear with time , that if action not taken, the danger would be not only for the region but for our country and Europe." He added, "We did not send hundreds of thousands of American soldiers and we do not spend trillions of dollars. What we are doing is to strengthen the local players, air strikes intelligence and functions of training and counseling." Behnken explained that "al-Qaeda wants to trap us by sending tens of thousands of American soldiers and we deal with it in other smart way in order to reach the terrorists more effectively." / End
