Vahdat Hall To Host Traditional Music

Tehran, Sept 2, IRNA - Traditional Iranian music ensemble ˈChakavakˈ will perform a concert at Tehranˈs Vahdat Hall. Scheduled for September 3-4, the concert features memorable pieces of Iranian music. Conducted by Reza Shayesteh, the ensemble will perform in two sections. In the first part, they will present pieces by masters of Iranian music Ali Tajvidi, Malek and Fazlollah Tavakkol. The second part will include compositions by Asadollah Malek namely: ˈI Went With Youˈ, ˈDepart from Youˈ, ˈInstrument and Songˈ. The members of the group are Milad Kiaei, Minou Qasemi (qanoun), Niloufar Ebrahimi (flute), Ava Ayyoubi (lute), Azadeh Amiri (tar), Mahbod Alavi (piano)./end
