Various Kinds of High-Alloy Steel Developed in DPRK

Pyongyang, March 31 (KCNA) -- Scientists of the DPRK have developed different kinds of high-alloy steel with domestic raw materials. Last year they invented more than ten kinds of alloy steel to be used in making main axles of machine tools and vehicles. The cost of those kinds of alloy steel is much lower than chromium steel produced with imported raw materials. Hundreds of tons of such high-alloy steel are being produced in a year in the country to meet the growing demand of various economic sectors. -0-
