Venezuela’s Oil Minister del Pino has met with Russia’s Energy Minister Novak and Rosneft CEO Sechin in Moscow

MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. Venezuela’s Oil Minister Eulogio del Pino, who arrived in Moscow for a short visit earlier on Tuesday has met with Russia’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak and Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin, an official with Venezuela’s embassy told TASS. "He is flying back at 2 o’clock p.m., in Moscow he had meetings with Novak and Sechin," the official said. The visit of del Pino was not announced in advance. The information about the time of his arrival in Moscow and duration of the visit and possible meetings was controversial. An official with Russia’s Energy Ministry told TASS that the main topic discussed by Energy Minister Alexander Novak and Eulogio del Pino was coordination of joint activities on the oil market. "The parties discussed participation of OPEC countries and independent oil producers in the agreement on restriction of oil production, different variant which are now being discussed," the official said.
