Venezuelan, Tanzanian Figures Support Panmunjom Declaration

Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- Venezuelan and Tanzanian personages made public statements to support and welcome the historic Panmunjom Declaration. Julio Chavez, vice-chairman of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela in charge of Affairs in the Andes Region, said that recently the north and south of Korea agreed to advance toward peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula, stunning the world, noting that the division of the Korean nation was attributable to the imperialists' policy of aggression. Maina, vice-chairperson of the Tanzanian National Coordinating Committee of the Juche Idea Study Groups, expressed full support to the declaration, saying: The declaration is of epoch-making significance in removing the crisis of war and achieving peace, prosperity and reunification. The recent great event and big shocks conductive to ensuring peace and security of the Korean peninsula and the world are ascribable to HE Kim Jong Un's noble love for the nation and bold decision. We sincerely hope that the Korean people would reject the outsiders' interference and achieve national concord, unity and reunification, and peace and stability would settle in the Korean peninsula. -0-
