Vietnamese military officer awarded Thai order

Hanoi, September 10 (VNA) - Deputy Defence Minister Senior Lieutenant General Do Ba Ty has been bestowed the Knight Grand Cross (first class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand. The ceremony was held in Bangkok on September 8 in recognition of his contributions to fostering the friendship between the Vietnam People’s Army and the Royal Thai Armed Forces. Commander of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Tanasak Patimapragorn presented the order to Sen. Lt. Gen. Ty. Speaking at the event, Sen. Lt. Gen. Ty expressed his honour at receiving the most noble order.-VNA
