Vocational Institutions Improvement Strategy honoured

Manama, July 5 (BNA): The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Authority for Qualifications and Quality Assurance of Education and Training (QAAET), Dr. Jawaher Al-Mudhahki, commended the efforts exerted by the Coordinative Panel for Development of Vocational Education, Training aimed to boost the standard of vocational training institutions according to the best international practices. The Prime Minister's Court recently honoured the governmental departments which participated in the UN's Excellent Public Service Programme2014 in recognition of their efforts in developing governmental work. The Coordinative Panel for Development of Education, Vocational Training has been honoured by Follow-up Affairs Minister Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Mutawa', by the inclusion of its "Strategy for Improvement of Vocational Training Institutions) project in the manual of "Good Practices in the Government Sector." The membership of the panel includes representatives from QAAET, Tamkeen, Education Ministry, Labour Ministry and Economic Development Board (EDB). QAAET's CEO Dr. Jawaher Al-Mudhahki who received a trophy in appreciation of this achievement said this honouring comes as a result of exerted efforts and support received from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
