VP Hopes Missing AirAsia Can Be Found Soon

Jakarta, Dec 29 (Antara) - Indonesian Vice President M Jusuf Kalla hoped that missing AirAsia plane flight QZ 8501 serving Surabaya (East Java)-Singapore route, could be found as soon as possible. "We pray that AirAsia plane that has lost contact, can be found and all passengers and crew survive," Kalla wrote on his official twitter here on Sunday. The Vice President has been informed about the AirAsia plane that has lost contact and he hoped that the aircraft could be discovered soon. Earlier, An AirAsia Flight No. QZ 8501 serving Surabaya (East Java)-Singapore route has lost contact just eight minutes after take-off. The plane lost communication most likely over Kalimantan Island, Farid Indra Nugraha, secretary of Angkasa Pura I airport management company, said here, Sunday. He stated that the plane lost contact likely eight minutes after take-off.
