Walkways of Moran Hill Spruced Up

Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- Walkways of picturesque Moran Hill in Pyongyang have been recently spruced up. In this regard, Pang Chol Hyok, manager of the Moranbong Park Management Office, told KCNA: A map showing a panoramic view of historic relics and walkways was newly put up at the entrance to the hill. Walkways towards the Ondal and Songga pavilions were paved with natural flagstones. And guard rails, embankment, table stones, etc. were newly installed or repaired along the walkway toward the Hyonmu Gate. Monuments to the history of the Moran Pavilion and the legend about the life of Ondal, a general in the period of Koguryo (B.C. 277-A.D. 668), in Moran Hill were newly erected. Visitors to the hill are unanimous in saying that they feel like walking along the paths in Mt Myohyang. -0-
