Warning for Thais after London attack

BANGKOK, June 4 (TNA) - The Thai embassy in London has issued a warning to Thai people living in Britain to cautiously travelling in public places following the latest attack in the British capital, which killed at least six persons and wounded more than 30 others late Saturday. In a message posted on the embassy’s Facebook, the warning said the violence occurred at about 10.00 p.m. Saturday when a van hit several pedestrians on the London Bridge while the crime took place at the Borough Market. Both places are popular destinations in London among tourists. British authorities initially believed the incidents were carried out by terrorists. Because of the incidents, the Thai embassy has, therefore, advised Thais living in Britain to exercise caution in travelling, especially to public places and follow advice from the British government.
