We have a common will to deepen cooperation, says GCC Term President

ISTANBUL (A.A) - Term President of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Saud al-Faysal bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud said Saturday that the GCC's relations with Turkey were based on brotherhood and historic ties. Speaking at the inauguration of the Turkey-GCC High Level Strategic Dialogue Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Istanbul, Al Saud said that there was a common will to deepen cooperation and turn this cooperation into a strategic dialogue. Al Saud thanked Turkey for the support extended to the Palestinian cause, efforts to find solutions to the region's problems, steps taken for the region's stability and closeness to the Arab perspective. Also speaking at the inauguration of the meeting, Secretary General of the GCC Abdul Latif Bin Rashid Al Zayani said that the GCC had to develop relations with Turkey for the security and the stability of the whole region.
