Weapons, munition smuggling gang dismantled by Iran's Intelligence Ministry

Tehran, August 19, IRNA – Iran's Intelligence Ministry dismantled a big arms and ammunition smuggling network in the Alborz Province to West of Tehran. According to the Iranian intelligence ministry on Wednesday, the gang has been active in Alborz, Tehran, Kermanshah, Lorestan, Isfahan, Sistan and Baluchestan, and West Azerbaijan, as well as Kerman provinces. Over 20 members of the gang were arrested in coordination with the judiciary, and a significant number of weapons and ammunition were seized.
