Weather forecast for April 1-5

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Snow and rain are expected in some parts of western and central regions and the Gobi on April 1, in western and central regions on April 2, and in most regions on April 3 and 4. Winds will get stronger in the Altai Mountains on April 1, in some regions on April 2, reaching 14 m/sec, in the Gobi and steppes on April 3 and 4, reaching 18 m/sec and forming dust and snow storms. In the beginning of this period, the nighttime temperature in the areas around Uvs lake and the depression of Darkhad and in the bank of Tes river will be -13-8 Celsius, the daytime 0+5. In the depression of Uvs lake and in the banks of Khuren belchir, Egi-Uur, Kharaa, Eroo, Tuul ,Terelj, Onon and Khalkh rivers, the nighttime temperature will show -10-5, the daytime +3+8. In southern parts of the Gobi, the nighttime temperature will be 0+5, the daytime +11+16. In other regions, the nighttime temperature will be -6-1, the daytime +7+12 Celsius. It will get colder in most regions on April 3 and 4.
