WEST NUSA TENGGARA KICKS OFF PESONA BAU NYALE 2018 FESTIVAL CENTRAL LOMBOK, W Nusa Tenggara, Feb 21 (Antara) - Tourism Office of West Nusa Tenggara kicked off the Pesona Bau Nyale Festival of 2018. Chairman of West Nusa Tourism Offices Lalu Mohammad Faozal said that the kick off of event of the Pesona Bau Nyale 2018 Festival is a series of sea worm hunting, or Bau Nyale activities and will be held from March 6 to 7 at Seger Beach, Central Lombok regency. "This Bau Nyale event has been included in the 100 national events list that are included in the tourism calendar at the Ministry of Tourism," said Faozal in Kuta Beach, Central Lombok, Tuesday. He further stated that from the 100 national event, Pesona Bau Nyale had became the first agenda of the Ministry of Tourism in 2018. "It had been a long process before the charm of Bau Nyale can be a national agenda," he explained. He then mentioned that there are 12 of activities that will be carried out in Pesona Bau Nyale 2018. Starting on February 24, a beach volleyball competition, joined by teams from eight different countries and almost 24 provinces, was held. "There are many supporting activities that we carry out, there are beach volleyball, art performances, music festivals, carnivals, exhibitions, Mandalika travel fair, et cetera," he said. Meanwhile, Assistant II of Regional Secretariat of Central Lombok Regency, H Nasrun hoped that the Persona Bau Nyale 2018 Festival Bale could further boost tourist visit to Central Lombok.
