Williams, Azarenka take part in Thailand's fashion show

PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, THAILAND, December 28 (TNA) - World-renowned tennis players, Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka, took part in the catwalk in Thai silk clothes in seaside Hua Hin District of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province on Friday. The fashion show was held ahead of the "Hua Hin World Tennis Invitation" tournament in Hua Hin on December 29, 2013. Williams and Azarenka, ranked No. 1 and No. 2 respectively in world women's singles tennis, joined the “Made in Thailand Night with Serena and Victoria” fashion show, which presented garments made from silk of Pak Thong Chai District of Nakhon Ratchasima Province in the Thai Northeast. Thailand's former and famous tennis players Paradorn Srichaphan and Tamarine Tanasugarn, as well as Malika Kanthong and Amporn Yapha, players of Thailand's female volleyball team which won the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship this year, also took part in the same event. After the show, Williams told journalists that she was very impressed with her first visit to Thailand, while Azarenka said Thailand is like her second home and her family members have frequently visited the Kingdom.
