WIND MILL CONSTRUCTION IS GOING WITH 70 PERCENT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A director of Newcom LLC, Mr B.Byambasaikhan says an erection of the windmill is going with 70 percent. This 50MW power wind mill, being constructed by this company first ever time in Mongolia, was to put into use in November, but due to weather it has been postponed until December, "the huge fans cannot be installed in windy weather, so we have to wait calm days," he explains. Towers are 80 meters tall, with three sections each, each weighs 125 tons. One blade weighs about 6.2 tons, is 40.3 meters in length. Some 240 cubemeter concrete is used for the foundation, which is the same amount used in a foundation of 9-storey building.
